A metropolis clerk from central West Virginia has been appointed to the state Legislature, Republican Gov. Jim Justice introduced Tuesday.

Erica J. Moore, a Republican from Rowan County who works as a utilities clerk for town of Spencer, will characterize the fifteenth District within the state Home of Delegates serving Rowan and Burt counties.

Moore will serve the rest of the time period vacated by former Del. Riley Keaton, who introduced earlier this month that he was leaving to take a state authorities job on the Division of Well being and Human Companies.
